This Fascia Connections Pop-Up Class is designed to introduce participants to the body’s fascia & connective tissue system, the role and function it plays in the body, and how pain & tightness is often a result of fascial restrictions.
Using a variety of tools and props, you will learn Myofascial Release (MFR) techniques to gently, yet effectively release areas of tightness or tension that may be impacting your day-to-day activities. Learn how to soften and melt into your body using guided breath, imagery, and cues to help you feel deeply into your tissue.
You will also discover how important the relationship between the nervous system and the fascia system is and learn a few simple ways to help with regulation. Come with an open heart & mind, leave with a feeling of openness in your body and knowledge that you can add to the ways that you care for your mind, body, & spirit.
This is an interactive class where feedback & reflection is encouraged after various techniques. Please bring a bed pillow from home, your own yoga/exercise mat, and wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. Hydration is also important so you may want to bring a water bottle. All other props & tools are provided.
