Release old patterns. Let go of what no longer serves you physically, emotionally, energetically.

Yin Yoga for Letting Go is a contemplative, slow-paced practice centered on the art of release. Rooted in the teachings of mindfulness meditation, this class explores letting go of expectations with curiosity, gentleness, and non-attachment.

Drawing inspiration from the four foundations of mindfulness - awareness of the body, feelings, mind states, and our mind’s relationship to experience - we will move through a layered journey of observation. The practice begins with a guided body scan to cultivate presence, followed by gentle inquiry into sensations, emotions, and thoughts as they arise. Rather than fixing or changing anything, we practice noticing with curiosity and without judgment, allowing space for deeper awareness to emerge.

With intention-setting at the heart of the practice, we will reflect on the phrase: “I allow what no longer serves me to gently dissolve.” Yin postures will be held for longer periods to encourage the release of physical tension, energetic stagnation, and habitual holding, while opening associated energy channels and supporting emotional ease.

This practice offers a quiet, supportive space to soften effort, reconnect with inner awareness, and rest in qualities of intuition, compassion, insight, and equanimity - our true nature beneath the noise.
