If you are curious about the practice of yoga but are not sure where to begin - this class is for you!  This foundational workshop is designed to set you up for a sustainable and beneficial yoga practice that you enjoy – regardless of age, flexibility or body type.


In this workshop you will learn:

- The 8 limbs of Yoga, a brief history, why we use Sanskrit + types of yoga

- Posture (asana) breakdown

- Breathing (pranayama) practices

- Props + modifications

- Introduction to the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar)

- Meditation techniques


$45 includes 3 additional classes at BG Yoga to be used within 30 days, take-home resources, as well as a 20% discount code to apply towards one retail purchase at BG Yoga.


This workshop will be beneficial if you are newer to yoga,  looking to revisit the basics, or just wanting to reignite your love of yoga.
